My name is Molly McTighe and I am an artist creating custom artwork and murals for interior design. I love to help people bring ideas to life to make their spaces more personal and beautiful.
It may be surprising to learn that before launching New Leaf in 2019, I was part of the mental health field as a Licensed Professional Counselor, but my motivation to create art has always been sparked by the process of making art for others, whether it was memorializing loved ones who’d passed or creating a piece for my new child’s nursery. Though artist and counselor may seem like disconnected roles, I feel a sense of meaning and purpose in helping others improve and grow, whether it’s helping them navigate difficult personal problems or using my creative energy to bring beauty into people’s surroundings.
Services and Pricing
New Leaf offers clients murals and custom artwork for interior design. We work with you to draw out your vision, develop a concept, and then put paint-to-wall.
Mural Process and Pricing
Prices depend on size and complexity. Initial consultation is free. I am happy to scale the scope of the project to meet your budget.
If more in depth conceptualization of a mural is needed, as in mocking up a smaller scale version to make sure we are on the same page, I charge $20/hour.
Once a plan is agreed upon, %50 of the total is due at the beginning of the project and %50 at completion. Venmo is preferred.
Murals that are simpler with a few colors and less detail range from $400 to $600. Larger, more complex murals with more detail and more color start at $1000 and increase based on size. Paint and supplies are included in the total fee.
Pet Portraits
My portraits of your pet require a high-resolution photograph and can be done on wood panel or canvas. They can be as small as 8x8 inches or as large as 4x4 feet. Pet portraits are $300. %50 is due at the beginning and %50 at completion. I can deliver the painting if you are in the Greater Cincinnati area. Paint and supplies are included in the fee.
